    Salary: starting from $78,000 annually based on experience, training and skills.

    As a Senior Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of aerospace products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules, monitor inventory levels, and optimize resource allocation. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards.

    You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Aerospace facility in Slemon Park, PE.

    In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, contributing to the overall success of our aerospace business.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources for production.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.

  • The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.


    YOU MUST HAVE


    • 5+ years of experience in integrated supply chain/manufacturing production planning.

    WE VALUE

  • Post secondary education in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning principles and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • APICS certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations and standards.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
