As a key part of the Corporate Tax Team, this role contributes to meeting the income tax reporting and compliance obligations of Sun Life Financial and its Canadian subsidiaries.

What will you do?

Assist in the accurate and timely preparation of federal, provincial income tax returns for Sun Life Financial and its Canadian subsidiaries
Provides support as needed to other members of the tax team
Prepare quarterly tax provision

What do you need to succeed?

Degree in accounting, business, finance or equivalent experience
Experience with general ledger
Attention to detail with an eye for critical thinking
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Effective and efficient written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient data analysis skills.
Accounting and/or tax background preferred.
