Job Description Salary starting at $17.58/hr + annual bonus**
Permanent, full-time position

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday, 6:00 a.m. to noon

Location : 4383 Rue Châteauguay, Jonquière, QC G8A 0A3

As a
laborer Impact project, under the responsibility of the Branch Manager and in close collaboration with the cashiers and the project coordinator, you will play an essential role in the smooth running of our site.

Your primary responsibility will be for our partnership with
Impact Auto Auctions Ltd (IAA) and will involve the preparation and presentation of vehicles for their auctions.

At the same time, you will also be called upon to participate in the processing of vehicles for recycling and the improvement of the organization of the yard.

Main responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing vehicles using a handheld device; Organize and classify vehicles efficiently to streamline tracking;
Clean, remove snow (winter) and wrap vehicles to improve visual appeal and prevent further damage;
Ensure vehicles are clean and free of dirt or debris for images;
Perform detailed inspections of vehicles upon arrival, documenting any damage or existing issues using photographs and a digital questionnaire;
Ensure an accurate representation of vehicle condition;
Respond promptly to inquiries and requests;
Willing to work outdoors in varied weather conditions, including summer and winter;
Adapt and perform tasks effectively regardless of weather conditions;
Coordinate seamlessly with the operations team to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and maintaining accurate records;
Collaborate proactively with colleagues to maintain a safe and organized work environment; Prepare vehicles for display in the yard;
Dismounting wheels and classifying tires;
Clean, test and classify batteries for resale;
Fill the cans with certain liquids and label them;
Prepare, organize and clean the yard for customers;
Keep your workspace clean and tidy.

Qualifications
-
Fluency in French:

Personal motivation and ability to work under pressure and independently with mínimal supervision;
Attention to detail and keen sense of identifying vehicle imperfections;
Ability to work effectively outdoors in variable weather conditions;
Demonstrate safe professional behavior;
Be in good physical shape ability to lift up to 5075lbs;
Have the desire to learn;
Reliability, diligence, punctuality and versatility;
Have good manual dexterity;
