- Support food preparation and promote safe food handling.

- Ensure safety, follow health and safety protocols, and use de-escalation skills when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

- 3 weeks' vacation after 1 year, increasing with seniority
- 1 sick day per month accrued
- Step wage increases every 2,000 hours (up to Step 4)

- Community or School Support Worker Certificate, a Diploma is an asset

- Support individuals with diverse physical and cognitive abilities.
- Plan and facilitate recreational and community inclusion activities.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, including meal prep and housekeeping.
- Manage challenging behaviours and crisis situations effectively.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Maintain accurate documentation and positive working relationships.
- Advocate for individuals with diverse abilities.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or equivalent) with a safe driving record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting individuals with mobility aids (training provided).
- Completion or willingness to complete mandatory training (CPR-C, Mandt, Safe Food Handling, Medication Management, Anti-Bullying & Harassment, Abuse and Neglect Awareness training, CLBC Privacy).
