NTS Amega West is also pioneering design improvements for enhanced drilling performance with powder metallurgy and other high end manufacturing techniques. NTS Amega West is based in Houston, Texas and operates facilities in the US and Canada.


PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Act as a liaison between NTS Amega West and the customer for the manufacturing or repair of Downhole tools.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Respond to customer inquiries for quotes on new manufacturing, repair of tools and material request.
  • Check inventory and communicate to customers if requests can be met
  • May review customer purchase orders/tool requests and send customer acknowledgement of acceptance.
  • Assist with planning for materials as per customer needs, and communicate to purchasing
  • Discuss customers delivery schedules with manufacturing, respond to customer with expected delivery dates.
  • Other responsibilities as defined in QHSE Management System or direct supervisor
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service/inside sales experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing engineering a plus.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft office products proficiently (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.
  • Requires good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to use good judgment. An understanding of supply management and inventory a plus.
  • Will require interface with internal/external customers and vendors.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Leduc, AB T9E 0R8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Inside sales: 3 years (preferred)
  • Customer service: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
