Jr. IT Systems Administrator, Infrastructure & Technical Services

Location:
Victoria, BC.

_Salary Range:
_ $61,500 - $78,300

Duties & Responsibilities (will be trained):

First line investigation, troubleshooting and resolving incidents, problems and updating tickets appropriately within defined service level agreements (SLA)
Analyze and resolve incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime to all clients while coordinating and communicating with impacted stakeholders
Installing new software releases, evaluating and installing patches
Manage installs, configuration and monitoring of servers
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather and validate support requirements
Deploying servers and it's required services

Skills & Qualifications (a plus but not required):

Experience with configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop hardware and software
Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills
Knowledge of computer workstation setup
Exceptional multitasking abilities and prioritization skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux servers

Personal Attributes:

Strong customer service mindset
Team player able to work under pressure
Strong learning aptitude
Able to communicate in userfriendly language
Able to lift at least 50lbs.
