Carpenter Foreman - New Westminster

To provide on-site supervision and coordination between different subcontractors. Ensure that required quality standards are met for the projects. Ensure work is executed towards the on-schedule completion of the project and the project's conditions are safe

Responsibilities:

Monitor the work progress on site by efficiently managing the Coordination of different trades
Motivating subtrades, to complete the work safely, on time and to an acceptable standard of quality
Reporting to Site Superintendents onsite progress, possible delays, and other issues
Troubleshooting common issues that may arise on site
Maintaining a good working relationship with the team, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:

Years of experience in construction projects
Managing new construction projects is an added asset
Proven trade experience (carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.)
Commitment to the job site safety and project quality
Understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and Safety Guidelines
Excellent organizational and execution skills
Experience using construction machinery is an asset
Good physical condition and stamina
