Description

Reporting to the Sales Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Manage your own timetable to schedule appointments and perform site visits with prospective clients to take measurement and introduce yourself as their point of contact with the company
  • Relationship building with prospective clients
  • Source out materials and internal quotes to maximize profit off quoted work
  • Create customer proposals and provide to customer, sign contracts, and collect deposits
  • Present any Change Orders/ Requests to the clients in conjunction with Construction Services PM
  • Manage warranty issues with customers
  • Use online software to place orders windows and doors
  • Follow up on unsold business within the database, ensuring customers' needs are met to the best of your abilities
  • Log all projects and quotes into Customer Relationship Management system/database
  • Provide written scopes/work orders to Construction Services
  • Continually achieve/exceed sales targets set by Sales Manager
  • Provide estimates to Emergency PM as required
  • When needed, be available as a backup Emergency Services PM (i.e. on call rotation, emergency claim site inspections, assessment of property damage, manage and scope emergency and remediation/repair processes following IICRC and Ontario Building Code Standards
  • Work closely with all involved parties to ensure seamless communication from Client to Office, to field is established for all contracts
  • Have weekly sales meetings with Sales Manager
  • Help maintain internal supplier price lists
  • Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
  • Maintain your time sheet and vehicle log books
  • Other assigned tasks from management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in the construction industry and/or sales
  • Completion of a construction/building technology diploma or Engineering degree AND/OR Working knowledge of residential/ commercial construction
  • Working at Heights preferred
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Trade related accreditation an asset
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License required
  • Driver's Abstract in good standing
  • Clean Criminal Record
  • Working Knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA)

$60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
