Description

Vice President & Chief Philanthropy Officer

  • Permanent, Fulltime

What we do

  • At BC Children's Hospital Foundation, we're on a quest to ensure every kid in the province receives the best health care imaginable. As a fundraising organization, we inspire communities and people to support BC Children's Hospital, along with its worldclass research institute, mental health facility and rehabilitation centre.
  • Our work makes a profound difference. From helping get the boldest research ideas off the ground to supporting the most advanced equipment, together we are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in children's health care. This is no small task—which is why we're looking for passionate people to join our team and help propel our mission forward.

What you'll do

  • Having recently embarked on a bold new strategic plan, BCCHF is looking for a new Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (VP & CFO) to join the Foundation during a time of change. Working in close partnership with the CEO, the VP & CFO will have a clear mandate to ensure that the Foundation has the operational and financial discipline to manage the business of the Foundation in a manner that is considered best in class. In fulfilling this mandate, the VP & CFO will provide vision and leadership to the Finance, Organizational Systems, and Donor Services teams and will provide strategic advice and counsel to the Board, CEO and Executive team.
