- Travel to different job sites and collaborate with site personnel and other testing facilities
- Verify the correct components and materials used in testing
- Perform compression testing of concrete samples
- Sample and test raw source materials per specifications
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain production tools and testing equipment
- Transport materials back to the lab for further testing
- Conduct lab trial mixes for product enhancement
- Tackle concrete field issues
- Document and communicate test results to management
- Establish and nurture relationships with colleagues and clients
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field
- Experience with ready mix concrete or similar construction materials
- ACI/CCIL Concrete Field Testing Certificate is a plus
- Familiarity with CSA standards for ready mix concrete
- Intermediate Excel skills and computer literacy
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Capability to work safely and autonomously
- Physically fit, capable of lifting up to 75 lbs., working in various weather conditions, and flexible with work hours
