Customer Service Project Specialist

As part of the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) | Unity Laboratory Services (ULS) team, you'll collaborate with service coordinators, field service engineers and management to support project activities for both internal and external customers.

Also, you'll be responsible for enhancing the learning experience for colleagues, as well as shaping the capability development of our current and future workforce.

Measurably improving corporate readiness, performance, and quality.


What will you do?

  • Coordinate and complete special projects, assignments and administrative tasks per business needs required for the service team.
  • Support projects that improve current capabilities and refine internal processes for the department.
  • Assist in crafting and maintaining the Onboarding program, OntheJob trainings (OJTs), structured discussions and maintaining relevant area procedures and training materials.
  • Build and present varied training materials, programs, and modules in small and large group settings
  • Facilitate training and onboarding with new employees in oneonone or small group settings
  • Use knowledge of training systems, SOPs, and practices to improve the organization's knowledge base through execution of effective and efficient training.
  • Support and collaborate with teams and management to prepare, coordinate, document and/or provide the development and delivery of learning products and services to enhance content retention and support business outcomes and industry compliance.
  • Be responsible for the creation, revision, and distribution of various types of documentation, including but not limited to policies, procedures, reports, and manuals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive documentation management systems and procedures.
  • Communicate efficiently with cross functional teams to discover learning opportunities on a proactive basis.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards for document control.

Education
years customer care experience with a bachelor's degree in management, education, or related degree

  • 2+ years customer care experience with an associate degree/certificate program
Different combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.


Competencies & Skills

  • Proficient with Computers and systems, including AS400, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail to meet and exceed internal and external customer needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    :English required, Bilingual (French) preferred

  • Strong presentation skills in small and large group settings
  • Prior experience training others or leading groups strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to tackle problems and prioritize work using good judgment and discretion.
  • Great teammate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
