Description

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with Product Development
  • Technical follow up with clients; Sample requests, follow up and quotation; Formula definition; Technical support and clarification of technical issues.
  • Following Industrial Trials, supervising recipe upscale int production.
  • IT purchase order reception and transfer when applicable; Creation of FP formula and procedure, definition of all parameters in specific R&D programs; Coordination of industrial test with the various services involved; Code request for new raw materials.
  • Technical Support
  • Client's periodical visits, status review on ongoing projects, among others; Reports requested by clients on costs, Quality Control parameters, industrial productions; Meeting with suppliers.
  • Works closely with the Group's R&D Central Structure, providing reports as well as operational and strategic inputs.
  • Adapt the department's activity, ensuring compliance with food quality and safety, improving the impact on nature, respect for people and communities and economic sustainability throughout the entire value chain.

Qualifications:


  • University degree (Masters preferred) and relevant work experience in the field of food science
  • 2 years experience in R&D in the Food Processing Industry considered an asset
  • Experience in Dairy and/or Fruit Processing is an asset but not required
  • Must be able to work in a high pressure, fastpaced environment; work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Must be safety and quality conscious
  • English required; French considered an asset
