Number of positions: 1


All students must be full time day students at a recognized secondary or post-secondary institution and be returning to full time attendance in fall of 2023.

Students must meet the basic requirements of the position.

Should you be offered the position, with the City of Cornwall, you will be required to submit verification of school status.

Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; 35 hours per week.

Hourly Wage:
Starting at $17.00 per hour
Term: 4 months, May to end of August


Responsibilities:


  • Customer service, filing, making photocopies, entering dog tag information into a database
  • Calling customers with regards to complaints, contacting residents regarding By-Law matters
  • Scanning documents into a municipal software
  • Receiving payments for Business Licenses, dog tags and parking tickets at the counter
  • Enforcing Yard Maintenance By-Law with regards to tall grass violations
  • Currently taking the Police Foundation program, Community College or University program
  • Class G Driver's License
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Bilingualism (English and French) will be considered an asset
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 (two doses) at the time of interview
