The Hazmat Site Foreman will be responsible to move projects along in a timely manner. They may operate hand and power tools of all types and a variety of other equipment and instruments.

The Hazmat Site Foreman will also be required to clean and prepare sites, clean up rubble and debris and remove mold, asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials under the direction of the Operations Supervisor & Project Manager.

We are looking for positive people to lead, mentor and direct their crew to complete jobs as scheduled or earlier.

Compensation is commensurate with experience & competencies.

Eligible for extended health plan after 3 months of probationary period.

Requirements:

Show up every day as scheduled and direct the crew efficiently and effectively. Be well organized and deliver each project while providing attention to detail and client satisfaction.

Construct containments and decontamination facilities, which at times can be challenging. Operations Supervisor and Project Mangers regularly assist to tasks of a challenging nature.

Knowledge of/ and continual learning of WorksafeBC safety regulations in our industry, and ability to learn company policies.

Valid BC Drivers License, N or class 5, is required.

Proper use & care of personal protective equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Considered an asset:
Construction experience

Occupational First Aid Level 1

WHIMIS 2015

Mobile Elevated Work Platform and Fall Arrest certificates

Confined Space certificate

Asbestos & Lead Awareness training

Infection Control Certificate

Salary:
$30.00-$34.00 per hour
