The Manager, Product Design supports the Senior Manager of New Products & Digital Experience to design and develop innovative products and services in the Payments group. This role is crucial for overseeing the entire product design process and collaborating with a diverse team to introduce the designs to the market. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating sophisticated, user-friendly designs. Leveraging insights from customer behavior and expectations, you will craft, refine, and introduce new products and services that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.
Key AccountabilitiesProduct & Service Design
- Design and create engaging products and services that meet customer needs
- Analyze customer behavior to shape design decisions
- Embrace a human-centered, digital-first approach guided by the latest human-computer interaction principles
- Introduce new products and services to generate revenue for North American Retail Payments
Prototyping & Launch
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to explore, prototype, and launch new products
- Provide business insights across technical departments to influence outcomes
- Manage new products with a focus on rapid experimentation and scaling successful projects
Influencing and Relationship Management
- Effectively communicate key messages and recommendations
- Collaborate with various business functions to ensure alignment and execute successful strategies
Risk Management
- Oversee regulatory and risk management for the business group; identify and mitigate risks
Knowledge
- Previous experience in product design and development with a strong grasp of design theory
- Track record of leading complex projects under tight deadlines
- Strong external focus to track industry trends in the dynamic payments landscape
- Financial acumen for data-driven decision-making
- Payment industry knowledge, especially in digital and emerging trends
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Capable of delivering results and influencing without direct authority
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
$74, $138,600.00
