SALARY IS NEGOTABLE

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the pet store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Manage a team of employees, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure the store is clean and well maintained, creating a welcoming environment for customers and their pets.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the store and drive sales
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that the store has sufficient stock of products and supplies.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating prices and managing orders.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in retail management, preferably in a pet store or related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer focused approach.
  • Knowledge of animal care and products preferred.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $20.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
