The Job and Responsibilities:

Frequent travel will be required. Must have the comfortability and flexibility to work outoftown for extended periods.
Demonstrate a willingness to be mentored and take direction from the Surveyor.
Assist in a variety of surveyrelated tasks such as the setup of conventional survey and GPS systems, survey data collection, and other duties as directed by the Surveyor.
Inspect, operate and maintain survey equipment, tools and vehicles.
Full compliance and active participation in the Apex Geomatics' Health and Safety Program.
Adherence with quality assurance procedures and quality control practices.
Assist in the completion of daily field documentation and reports.
As a representative of Apex Geomatics, you are to conduct yourself with a professional, cordial attitude with clients.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma. One year of previous industry experience or postsecondary training in an applicable field would be considered an asset.
Possess technical and mathematical skills along with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
Have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
CSTS 2020 certification required.
