Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Edmonton, AB for a Retail Leader at American Eagle Outfitters. The Retail Leader will oversee the daily store operations, lead and develop a team of associates, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This includes driving sales, meeting store performance goals, managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. The Retail Leader will actively collaborate with the leadership team to implement strategies that improve customer satisfaction and increase store performance.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership abilities, with skills in team management, coaching, and motivating associates to meet goals.
- Customer service expertise, with the ability to engage and build lasting relationships with customers while resolving inquiries or concerns efficiently.
- Sales and retail experience, including the ability to achieve targets, analyze key performance indicators, and execute operational strategies effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, delegate effectively, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of merchandising and visual presentation, with attention to detail in maintaining store standards and layouts.
- Familiarity with driving an inclusive and welcoming workplace that supports diversity, self-expression, and teamwork.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant certifications in retail management or a related field are a plus.
