Agricultural Robot Operator - Montréal, Canada - Toparo
Description
A typical day would look like the following:
- Track the performance of robots working in the field
- Work with farmers to create a schedule for the weeding robots
- Monitor the robots onsite and remotely from the office
- Provide quality assurance of the functionality of the robots after assembly and hardware/software updates
- Document and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Develop workaround procedures with the support of engineering
- Provide feedback from the farmers about concerns or potential improvements
- Communicate to farmers updates schedule and impacts
- Organize and facilitate transportation and deployment of the robots and infrastructure
- Perform onfarm robot and infrastructure (e.g. GPS Base Station) deployment and maintenance

English; Spanish and French are assets)
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least one year of handson experience in a farm setting is required, with experience in a vegetable farm being particularly desirable.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC
