Description

A typical day would look like the following:

  • Track the performance of robots working in the field
  • Work with farmers to create a schedule for the weeding robots
  • Monitor the robots onsite and remotely from the office
  • Provide quality assurance of the functionality of the robots after assembly and hardware/software updates
  • Document and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Develop workaround procedures with the support of engineering
  • Provide feedback from the farmers about concerns or potential improvements
  • Communicate to farmers updates schedule and impacts
  • Organize and facilitate transportation and deployment of the robots and infrastructure
  • Perform onfarm robot and infrastructure (e.g. GPS Base Station) deployment and maintenance

Qualifications & Experience:


  • At least one year of handson experience in a farm setting is required, with experience in a vegetable farm being particularly desirable.
