What this role is all about:
We are looking for a motivated and high-performing individual to join our Wealth Management team as Investment Specialist.

Working amongst a team of respected professionals, you will provide holistic financial and investment planning advice, develop long-term relationships, and create customized investment solutions for Gulf & Fraser.

This is a mobile position working in partnership with various branches.

What you'll do:

Provides highquality investment and financial advice and services to members to help them achieve their longterm financial goals
Acquire and consolidate member asset
Develop longterm relationships with members by continuously meeting their financial needs
Develop and implement annual business plan.
Provides guidance, mentoring and coaching to other team members and branch employees as appropriate.
Represents and promotes G&F in the community by participating in local business activities and community functions.

A little about your qualifications:

35 years' related experience with demonstrated success in sales, business development, financial advice and relationship management
Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course
Registration with Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA)
Completion of Professional Financial Planning (PFP) and/or successful completion of core financial planning courses
Postsecondary business degree or diploma is a strong asset
Must have a valid BC Driver's License and reliable access to a vehicle
