124 on Queen was founded in 2011 with the goal of creating the most luxurious hotel and spa experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Since then, we've grown to offer a full set of services which include multiple restaurants, corporate events, weddings, and events space as well as a newly opening Lobby Bar and restaurant that will offer some of the best wines and most unique cocktails in the region.

Job Description:

*Comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and daily specials.
*Adhere to all service standards as outlined for the Bartender/Mixologist Position as well as all requirements for the Lounge Serving Team.
*Ability to provide the highest level of service through knowledge of food and beverage
*Comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures.
*Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and bar area
*Working as a team to ensure all side work, cleaning, and stocking duties are completed to the standards of the hotel and completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
*Ability to build and create craft cocktails to exact specifications and demonstrates showmanship in the creation of these beverages.
*Knowledge of garnishes.
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to describe and upsell food and beverages to enhance the guest drinking and dining experience.
*Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

*High School diploma or equivalent
*Minimum of two (2) years experience bartending in a high-volume front bar, service bar, and/or fine dining
environment and or hotel
*Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
*Extensive cocktail recipe knowledge.
*Extensive wine and Craft beer knowledge
*Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
*Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds
*Must have Smart Serve Certificate
*Food Handlers certificate an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 16-30 per week

Salary:
From $15.50 per hour
