Our District Facilities Centre needs a seasoned Administrative Assistant who has supervisory experience and the ability to lead a small team of administrative assistants.
Management of the day-to-day operation of the front office
Managing a small team of unionized clerical assistants
Providing professional administrative support to the Director and Assistant Directors at the District Facilities Centre.
Budget Development and Control
Preparing meeting agendas, minutes and resulting correspondence
Assisting with the planning of special events and meetings
Provide administrative assistance to Facilities Managers on capital Projects.
Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned
Preferred experience to include:
A diploma in Office Administration or equivalent;
A minimum of five years' work-related experience;
Supervisory and/or management experience, preferably in a large unionized environment;
Advanced computer skills, including fluency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
