Role Description

This is a full-time remote role based in Norther Alberta for a Utility Vegetation Patroller/Consentor. The Utility Vegetation Patroller/Consentor will be responsible for monitoring and assessing vegetation growth and clearance around utility infrastructure. They will conduct inspections, identify and mitigate vegetation hazards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Utility Vegetation Patroller/Consentor will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement vegetation management plans.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of utility vegetation management practices and regulations
• Experience in conducting vegetation inspections and assessments
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Physical fitness to perform outdoor tasks and work in various weather conditions
• Ability to use tools and equipment related to vegetation management
• Experience with GIS software is a plus
• Relevant certifications in vegetation management or arboriculture are a plus
