Advanced Refrigeration HVAC is looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a Journeyman Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both HVAC AND Refrigeration systems and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repairs and maintenances of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures and perform equipment maintenance

• Perform welding, plumbing and other mechanical tasks as needed to ensure optimal functionality of equipment

• Respond to service calls in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain a good relationship with current and future clients

• Collaborate with other technicians to build and modify systems

• Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance schedules and parts used.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration Technician, with proven experience

• Strong mechanical knowledge with ability to read and interpret schematics

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Hold a valid driver's license to provide commercial and residential service within central Alberta

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
