    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a qualified Project Controls Analyst / Reporting Analyst for the Joint Corridor for the Metrolinx, Ontario Line Integrated Project Team (IPT), based out of Toronto, ON. The Project Controls Analyst / Reporting Analyst, Joint Corridor will be responsible for the timely collection, analysis, summary and issuing of progress reports and other data and information for all the contracts under Joint Corridor segment. The Joint Corridor contracts are Design-Bid-Built, and the scope consists of construction of Ontario Line in the USRC and Kingston sub-division rail corridors of Go Transit and VIA Rail. The Joint Corridor Reporting Analyst reports functionally to the Ontario Line Reporting Manager and takes day-to-day direction from the Joint Corridor Delivery Manager and have the opportunity to work on the Ontario Line, Metrolinx project as part of the integrated Delivery Partner team. The Metrolinx Ontario Line project scoped includes the design build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15 KM of new alignment, being performed by three key PPP Contractors and multiple advanced early works (EAW) package Contractors.     Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Executing the IPT reporting process for the Joint Corridor contracts: Sourcing data from the IPT team and the contractors, assembling required reports, coordinating reviews and approvals by the IPT management and timely submission within required deadlines and quality requirements
    • Coordinating the review by the IPT team of reports and data provided by the Contractors and third parties and collating feedback by the required IPT members on conformance with contract requirements to support timely responses.
    • Analysing data and providing feedback to the relevant IPT team members on non-conformance with contract requirements, trends and outliers.
    • Contributing to the development of digital dashboards through definition of dashboard output specs, collaboration with PowerBI specialists, and championing the use of digital dashboards in the team
    • Supporting the data needs for key meetings of the team and the program, including but not limited to control boards, and Ontario Line 3 levels of control related meetings
    • Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and data management
    Qualifications
    • Relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Engineering, construction, business or finance degrees is desirable. Construction, project management or project controls related qualifications is desirable. Relevant experience guideline: 5 years.
    • Previously held position(s) with responsibility for planning, estimating, cost control, data analysis or reporting on infrastructure projects of similar scope, size and complexity to an urban metro project.
    • A general understanding of engineering and construction procedures, principles, and concepts.
    • Experience working with teams and stakeholders in the development and delivery of large infrastructure projects. Ability to communicate across different technical disciplines (e.g. engineering, construction, testing & commissioning).
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Fluent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI and Microsoft Forms is desirable.
