The Role
We are a unique practice in the Canada marketplace that focuses on the development and enhancement of insurance solutions targeted at large customer or membership bases of clients (e.g. banks, credit unions, retailers, associations, hospitality providers, etc.).

As an insurance product analyst in our practice, you will be a key resource in supporting our insurance consulting teams, including preparation of client analysis, reports and other deliverables and conducting research supporting our business.

This will provide you with exposure to a variety of lines of insurance business and unique solutions supporting an ever-evolving marketplace.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide support for various consulting projects, conducting analysis, and preparing reports and supporting documents for senior leaders;
  • Liaise with clients and third parties (e.g. insurance companies and others) to support data and information gathering as needed in support of various projects, and gradually actively participate on client calls;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to acquire and share knowledge in support of common projects and marketplace learnings;
  • Collaborate with actuarial and analytical team resources to support broader insights into client challenges and opportunities;
  • Assist with research and presentation material for new client prospects and/or expansion of existing client relationships;
  • Review insurance documentation and marketing materials;
  • Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements;
  • Assist in the research and publication of quarterly and annual insurance market reports.

The Requirements

  • University degree;
  • Organized and resourceful with excellent attention to detail;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills;
  • MS Office expertise (Strong in excel, and experience in Word and PowerPoint);
  • Research skills (to gather and compile market data and information);
  • Strong and/or developing analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Effective and efficient time management skills, including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects;
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, to support effective communications with clients and colleagues;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Working knowledge of insurance verbiage;
  • Previous work experience in insurance, and in particular, personal insurance solutions,
