(Hybrid)

Permanent Full Time
70 Bi-Weekly Hours| Non-Union | Days Shift


The Corporate Human Resources Division at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, providing expertise, guidance, and assistance through partnerships with management and employees.

The HR Reporting & Analytics team maintains an extensive suite of programs and services, which require ongoing support and data generation to support operational managers.

Both functions necessitate considerable, detail-oriented work in order to accomplish the department's goals.


Reporting to the Manager, HR Reporting & Analytics, the Analyst, HR Reporting & Analytics will provide support for exceptional people services.

This role requires continuous collaboration within the Human Resources team, as well as the ability to partner with leaders across the organization.

This role is critical to driving successful business outcomes, while enhancing the employee experience at Baycrest.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports analysis and completion of people metrics with collection of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc indicators, related to HR data
  • Manipulate data extracts to report on various suites of HR insights (i.e. recruitment, health and safety, diversity)
  • Provide database support to create and maintain human resources databases, including the Human Resources Management System ('HRMS') (Empath) and Recruitment Management System ('RMS') and automated reporting tools (rePortal, HRBI)
  • Performs a data request intake process with key stakeholders to define data requirements and fulfills them via the development and delivery of reports.
  • Prepares and supports routine and adhoc data/report requests for the HR team and the business
  • Maintain data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy
  • Support the daily operation of the HRMS system, including table maintenance, file imports, security, system testing
  • Contribute to HR system implementations, ensuring all current and future reporting and analytics requirements are considered and planned for
  • Work closely with the team to ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting to various stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot data issues with the HR team as required

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • University or Community College graduate in a business or HR related
  • 13 years' progressive experience in Analytics, HR Reporting or related
  • Demonstrated related experience working with databases and spreadsheets to prepare statistical and descriptive reports, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • CHRP designation preferred
  • Highly process oriented with developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, problem solving ability and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good understanding of database structures and knowledge of HR data would be an asset
