QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, using and maintaining pharmacy automation
6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, using Meditech Pharmacy module o 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, preparing sterile drugs required (both hazardous and nonhazardous).
6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment. o Adequate knowledge of regulations governing Hospital Pharmacy practice. o 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, with or certified in, BPMH (Best Possible Medication History) gathering and documentation required.
Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products efficiently.
Ability to follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated analytical thinking skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills needed to handle diversified and changing workload.
Demonstrated leadership qualities including goal setting and service awareness.
Demonstrated ability to adapt well to progressive change.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written), teamwork, and problemsolving skills.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development. o Consistent and regular attendance required.
Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
