Tradex Convention Center is under new management and is located in Abbotsford, BC. Tradex is the second largest facility of its kind in Abbotsford.

We host a diverse range of events from corporate meetings, sporting events, trade and consumer shows, film and entertainment events, and concerts.

It takes amazing people to host these amazing events. We provide our team with adequate training to deliver excellent service that enables us all to shine.

We are seeking individuals for a special event on Saturday, March 25, 2023 who are able to run a bar while maintaining service and quality standards.

If interested, this position can continue to other upcoming events at Tradex.

Strong customer service skills.
Positive attitude and out-going personality.
Friendly, professional and courteous.
Ability to work independently.
Highly motivated and team player.
Ability to be assertive in difficult situations.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Work in a safe and responsible matter.
Ability to work flexible hours


What you will be doing:

Provide drinks for our guests in a timely matter.
Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor.
Maintain bar area stocked and clean.
Able to know and promote bar items.
Have enthusiasm and knowledge of drink menu.
Process cash register payments by cash, debit card, and credit card.
Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift.
Maintain cleanliness of counters and work space.
Must be able to work flexible and late hours.
Follow Tradex policies and procedures.
Previous experience preferred.
Must have Serving It Right Certification.

Pay is $15-$20/hr + tips
