Introduction:
Hi, I'm Sarah The Founder of The Birds Papaya Inc. We started as a personal blog and social media platform and have now grown into a multimedia company, including podcast, socials, TV, website/blog & more

We are currently seeking to fill a role that would include a wide array of duties and projects.

I am looking for someone to be my right hand, and assist in helping build and scale my brand and company.

Over the next year, you will be working closely with myself and our Director of Operations (Haley) supporting the day to day administration tasks for The Birds Papaya Inc.

This will be a 12 month contract to start, with the hopes to move to full time should we grow.

The Opportunity:


  • Managing The Birds Papaya's calendar and scheduling all meetings, engagements and commitments as required.
  • Working with the team to complete various tasks and duties that arise. This includes, but is not limited to, travel management, project management, brand meetings, reviewing briefs & contracts, and bringing creativity and organization to all facets of the business

What you bring to the table:

  • You have experience assisting a Founder, Executive or Leader in an Executive or Administrative Assistant capacity.
  • You have experience on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Pinterest.
  • You have a strong desire to explore areas beyond your role and contribute to growing the company in any way it requires i.e. content curation, written or otherwise, digital design, online shop curation, input into future collaborations in product/fashion.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with a professional presence and manner, and are a self starter who takes initiative.
  • You have excellent organization, planning and time management skills with exacting attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You've displayed excellent communication skills (verbal and written). You're flexible and have a willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including a rare evening or weekend.
This role will observe a 24 hour work week.

Exact days and times will be dependent on The Birds Papaya's schedule and needs, and may vary week to week.


Location:

Guelph/Toronto/GTA - This is a remote first role that requires some in person meetings and travel on an as needed basis.


The Interview Process:


Round 1:
Phone screen with Erica Peres, Sr. HR & Talent Advisor from Bloom

Round 2:
In-person or video interview (via WebEx) with Sarah Nicole Landry, Founder of The Birds Papaya Inc.

Round 3:
Final In-person or video interview (via WebEx) with a Panel including Carmen (Current Executive Assistant) & Haley (Director of Operations)

Perks at The Birds Papaya:

$250 CAD annual period + menstrual budget
