Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for aOperations Manager at our Montreal (
Anjou) manufacturing plant.
This position is responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while adhering to the Company's guiding principles and value of order.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plan and Organize daily production work.
- Supervisor production personnel.
- Report daily department results at daily meetings.
- Identify appropriate corrective actions and implement corrective actions.
- Give appropriate feedback to employees.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process and recognize opportunities.
- Complete the monthly occupational health and safety training.
- Perform health and safety inspections.
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education.
years of production supervisor experience is required.
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Experience working with SAP or similar systems is an asset.
- Must possess highlevel proficiency with MS Office Suite.
