Description
Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for a
Operations Manager at our Montreal (
Anjou) manufacturing plant.


This position is responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while adhering to the Company's guiding principles and value of order.


Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Plan and Organize daily production work.
  • Supervisor production personnel.
  • Report daily department results at daily meetings.
  • Identify appropriate corrective actions and implement corrective actions.
  • Give appropriate feedback to employees.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process and recognize opportunities.
  • Complete the monthly occupational health and safety training.
  • Perform health and safety inspections.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education.
years of production experience in manufacturing environment.
years of production supervisor experience is required.

  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities.
  • Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar systems is an asset.
  • Must possess highlevel proficiency with MS Office Suite.
