This is a 3 month contract starting ASAP and set to end April 21, 2023
This role requires a minimum of 3 days physically on site at the Milton office, with up to 5 days required for training and onboarding

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the HR Payroll Administrator is responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate data input into the HRIS system (Workday)
  • Enters data into HR systems, maintains HR files and records for all Ontario division employees
  • Produces weekly, monthly, and adhoc HR reports.
  • First point of contact for all payroll inquiries, issues and concerns, for all Ontario division employees
  • Administrative support for the HR leadership team.
  • Assists with coordinating details, logistics, communication and execution of various events including, but not limited to; Divisional social events, training, wellness, orientation, open enrollment, and other divisional HR events
  • Schedules meetings, assists with and directs incoming questions from employee's
  • Supports various aspects of onboarding process which includes storing of documentation, assisting in preparing of new hires files and processing new hire paperwork
  • Participates in planning and implementation of special projects related to payroll and HR including distribution of tax forms, RRSP enrollments, etc.
  • Crafts employment letters and verifies employment details for current and previous employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Computer literate

  • Google Sheets, Forms, Docs, Drive, Payroll and HR softwares
  • Strong developmental mindset taking initiative and driving for results

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-Secondary education is required. Preferably HR, admin, or finance focused background

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years previous administrative or payroll experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • WorkDay HRIS experience is an asset.
  • UKG (Kronos) software experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of human resources regulations and guidelines preferred.
