Overview:
The
Human Resources Advisor, based in Edmonton and reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
This position encompasses strategic relationship-building with company leaders, collaboration with operational teams to steer workforce management initiatives, and providing expert guidance on human resources practices.
Additionally, your responsibilities extend to identifying training needs, resolving workplace conflicts, ensuring legal compliance, and enhancing employee engagement.Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and support to management on all labour relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Ensure leaders are wellequipped regarding competitive compensation, recruitment, selection, and retention.
- Build and foster relationships with company leaders and operational teams to contribute to the development and achievement of business strategies.
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and coordinate programs to enhance employee skills.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee and management inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in the corporate recruitment process, including job posting and interview coordination.
- Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Provide support for termination processes, meetings, and administration.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires.
