    Be our next Graduate Environmental Planner
    Your work environment at EXP
    EXP is looking for a Graduate Environmental Planner within the Transportation group.

    Assisting Senior Environmental Planners and Project Managers :

    Collaborate with senior team members to execute environmental assessments and impact assessments for infrastructure projects at municipal, provincial, and federal levels.

    Maintain communication with clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
    Create and implement consultation programs, engaging with public, municipal bodies, regulatory agencies, and Indigenous communities.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration :
    Work closely with technical and professional staff across the company to complete project assignments.
    Coordinate with local, provincial, and federal agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals.

    Project Meeting Coordination :
    Prepare for, attend, and document project meetings.

    Environmental Specialist Coordination :
    Facilitate collaboration among environmental specialists (e.g.

    , Report Writing and Planning :
    Research, conceptualize, plan, and draft reports related to project planning, design, and permitting.

    Legal and Regulatory Knowledge : Stay informed about relevant legislation, including the Fisheries Act, Endangered Species Act, Navigation Protection Act, and Environmental Protection Act.

    Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Urban and Regional Planning and/or a related field.


    Legal and Regulatory Knowledge:
    Familiarity with legislation such as the Transit Project Assessment Process, Ontario EA Act, and Municipal Class EAs. Understanding of other relevant laws, including the Fisheries Act, Endangered Species Act, Navigation Protection Act, and Environmental Protection Act.

    Driver's License:
    Holds a Class G driver's license.
