- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Maintain general ledgers and financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Maintain and balance various accounts
- Support process improvement initiatives related to accounting and financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal policies and procedures
- College education in Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–3 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounting Software (or similar accounting systems)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and collaborative team player
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to work on-site at the Leamington office
- Successful completion of required security clearances

Position Summary
Insight Advantage is seeking an experienced Accounting / Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at our Leamington office. This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), long-term contract position supporting the organization's financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll processes, preparing reports, and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
