Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate Truck and Pup in a safe manner, accept Loads of Aggregates and Spoil from Local pits and Job Sites.
- Work with Machine Operators on site.
- Safely operate a heavyduty truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Complete required paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, accurately and in a timely manner
Skills:
- Commercial driving experience with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts, to load and unload cargo
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and safety procedures
- Basic automotive repair skills to perform minor maintenance tasks on the truck
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively
Salary:
From $32.00 per hour
