    The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing and processing employee payroll accurately and timely. This role involves handling sensitive employee information, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The Payroll Administrator will work closely with the HR department and other relevant teams to ensure payroll is processed efficiently. This position is a requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday and based out of our Kelowna office. The expected start date for this position April 29, 2024.

    We currently have two vacancies for the Payroll Administrator role at Emil Anderson Group:

    1) Full-Time Staff

    2) Temporary 3-Month Contract

    Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collect and verify employee time and attendance data.
  • Calculate payroll in accordance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Prepare and issue payroll statements and reports to management as required.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll information including changes to employee status, salary, benefits, and tax withholding information.
  • Verify employee deductions for benefits and taxes and ensure accurate reconciliations with employee contributions.
  • Stay up to date on changes to labour laws, tax codes, and other regulations affecting payroll administration Canada.
  • Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian payroll regulations and labour laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in maintaining payroll records.
  • The salary/wage range for this position will be discussed during the interview stage, taking into consideration candidate qualifications and experience.
