EYES Childcare Kitchener is looking for euthanistic Early Childhood Assistants to join our team in providing high quality care to children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the early childhood program
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
- Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom
Skills:
- Strong caregiving skills with experience in babysitting, nannying, or working with young children
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for early childhood age group
- Ability to create and maintain a structured and organized classroom environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse groups of children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Early Childhood Assistant Certificate OR Experience Working in Child Care Centers
- Uptodate Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- 2 Step TB test, immunization (Tetanus, MMR) within last year

Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour
