What you will be responsible for

Working closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of cloud technology
Helping to build & introduce clients to automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
Defining and implementing cloudbased solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines
Supporting customers in troubleshooting issues in their test and/or production environments and identifying root cause and solutions
Presenting case studies and cloud solutions at meetups, conferences and technology events

What you will bring to the role

7+ years of experience working as an Oracle DBA in a medium to large production environment.
2+ years of experience with a cloud service provider (CSP AWS, GCP or Azure)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
Experience in largescale, secure, and high availability solutions in Cloud environment
Demonstrate handson technical working experience with the creation, installation, configuration, backup & recovery, upgrades & migrations of Oracle 12c AND/OR 19c multitenant and single tenant.
Curiosity and tenacity to fully diagnose why something went wrong.
Handson technical working experience in the setup, configuration & support of Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) for clustering & high availability (HA).
Experience with Backup and recovery best practices.
Troubleshooting and Performance Improvement Skills including index creation, query optimization, schema changes etc.
Understanding of database security management like encryption of data at rest and in transit.
Handson technical working experience in the setup, configuration & support of Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for storage management.
Have handson technical working experience in the setup, configuration & support of Oracle Data Guard (single instance) to ensure HA, data protection & disaster recovery for enterprise data.
Strong awareness & knowledge around database security & auditing practices.
Experience with Migrating databases from onprem to cloud PAAS solutions like RDS.
