As a member of the senior member of the IT leadership team, this role will report directly to the Chief Information Officer with frequent interaction with the Chief Operating Officer.
The firm recently implemented a new ERP system (Aderant Expert) and has a wealth of new data that will excite any Business Intelligence professional.
This role will also have critical day to day operational responsibilities to support the various ERP financial, operational and customer facing systems critical to the firm.
In short, this is both a strategic and day to day operational role.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the firm's Business Intelligence strategic plan.
- Work with key internal stakeholders such as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner to ensure key decision makers have the right information to make the right business decisions.
- Provide support in the role of database development/management for the following enterprise solutions: Aderant Expert (accounting), InTapp, iPro and Relativity (eDiscovery), iManage (document management), Copitrak (cost recovery system), InterAction (CRM).
- Assist with technology initiatives using project management and business analyst expertise.
- Train and mentor staff and contribute as a senior member of the senior IT leadership team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous law firm experience is not required.
- Advanced and handson experience with MS SQL will be critical to this role.
- Working knowledge of.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Big team player able to be both a leader and also support those around them.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willing to work flexible hours when required
- Oncall for afterhours and weekend support escalations.
- This role is expected to work primarily onsite in our downtown Vancouver office.
- Successful completion of a Canadian criminal records check
