Description
We are currently looking for a Road Construction/ Sewer and Watermain Foreman to join our team. Preferred applicants will need to have road building and sewer and watermain construction experience.- Pay will depend on your experience
- Work will be within 160km of Almonte, Ontario
- Water and Sewer professional able to teach and inspect with confidence
- Computer Skill
- Work Closely with management
- Minimum of 5 Years experience in Road Construction/ Sewer and Watermain work
- Work with a variety of machinery, hand and power tools to perform a variety of tasks including; cut and place pipe, mix and place concrete, locate and expose utilities.
- Read plan, survey grade sheets and grade stakes. Then utilize lasers and GPS to check and confirm elevation and location for road cuts, structure and pipe placement.
- Perform other tasks, as directed, to support crew and ensure efficiency.
- Focus on safety for yourself, your coworkers and the public.
- Lead and supervise a sewer/watermain crew
- Knowledge and Expertise in sewers/watermain and excavation work
- Knowledge and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects (Green Book)
