_Order Desk - Yard Worker _

That steady growth has us looking for a new Inside/Outside hybrid role, and we hope our search ends with you.


_Order Desk - Yard Worker _

  • Safe Operation and Handling of all Equipment, Machinery and Tools
  • Pick, Stage and double check orders destined for customer pickups or jobsite
  • Always maintain Clean and safe working environment
  • Assist Branch Manager with internal operations as advised
  • Load and Unload materials from transport trucks or railcars and verify counts
  • Make sure all drive aisles, roadways, ramps or access areas are free of debris & snow
  • Advise customer service or Purchaser if short materials on order or low on stock
  • Provide customer service when needed at the front
  • Become proficient in operations within the branch as well as warehouse logistics
  • Place orders when they come in and create inventory
  • Perform inventory cycle counts or spot checks
  • All other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year in Warehouse or Order/Front desk reception
  • Physically fit, and able to lift over 50lbs
  • Fluent in English
  • Forklift license an asset
  • Follow Procedures and Protocols as instituted
  • Maintain organized, clean and safe work environment
