Widynowski's Sausage House specializes in Ukrainian sausage and foods with most of our products made in-house. We also do wild game processing and fundraising. We are currently seeking one person to join our team as a food production worker.You'll be joining a team environment that offers a varied workday and responsibilities. Most responsibilities and tasks are focused on production of our line of meat products using food production equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities
Food Production
- Operate, maintain and clean heavy production equipment such as stuffer, grinder, mixer, smoker and other small equipment
- Use knives to cut and trim raw and finished product
- Follow and execute production plans and schedules
- General cleaning and maintenance of production facility
- Keep facility and storage areas organized and orderly
- Various other duties
- High school diploma or GED required
- Works in a safe and responsible manner (food safety certification, WHMIS, First Aid or other safety certification/training will be strongly considered)
- Ability to follow through on a plan
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong customer service qualities
- Frequently lift 3070 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Manual and repetitive tasks
- Frequent bending and twisting
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week
Salary:
From $17.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
