Hi there,

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our team at The Armoury In Aurora, ON.
This is a PART-TIME position, however, hours can fluctuate anywhere from 15-30 hours a week. We focus on making from scratch to create fresh and exciting dishes. As an events centre, menus will vary from canapes to multi-course dinners. If interested, please send us your resume to join our team

Job Overview:

Niagara college -The Aurora Armoury is looking for a positive, talented and hard working individual who is looking to advance their culinary career.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Oversee the preparation of all food meals and inventory count
Managing freshness of all food items and proper food safe practices are being followed
Cooking from scratch food preparation
Consistently monitors kitchen operations and cleanliness of the kitchen
Work alongside front of house and management to ensure high quality standards are being met

Qualifications:

25 years of experience in the culinary industry
Excellent organizational skill
Strong leadership skill
High level of integrity
Food handler's certificate

Have a positive and energetic attitude
Have a strong sense of urgency
Strong people and communication skills
Passion for great food and culinary experience
Must be selfmotivated and leads by example
Applies problem solving skills and follows other duties as assigned

Previous experience required, compensation is based upon experience.

Job Type:

Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary:
$17.50-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
Weekend availability
