Job Summary:


As the Supervisor, Production Compounding you will be responsible for all aspects of the compounding floor activities, including ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with Safe Work Practices, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.

Provide coaching, mentoring and training to colleagues and subordinates with a continuous improvement mindset.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide results oriented leadership that drives continuous improvement consistent with the Operations Strategic and Production game plans.
  • Coordinate, assign and supervise all compounding activities to ensure production schedule/agreed upon goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop systems and metrics to measure and evaluate both productivity and individual performance and contribution on an ongoing basis.
  • Represent the interests of Production in the absence of the department manager.
  • Utilize open, honest, two way communication to build trustbased relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.
  • Create a culture which values trust and provides the opportunity for employee development and growth.

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum three years supervisory experience in GMP manufacturing is preferred.
  • University Degree in Science, Pharmacy or other scientific discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in approachability, dealing with direct reports, managing diversity, setting goals and objectives as well as measuring performance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and exposure to SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical and problem solving skills with the ability to motivate yourself and others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and the ability to interact with various individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work any shifts.
