Position Overview:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct usage analysis on experiment and nonexperiment data to understand customer behavior
- Analyze and understand why customers take certain actions
- Develop plans to track website usage and to improve event reporting
- Improve and maintain automated reports
- Communicate data analysis results and recommendations
- Create new projects based on experiment results
- Collaborate with analysts, software developers, and key stakeholders
- Deliver databased recommendations and identify next steps
- Discover data trends and findings across different projects & experiments
- Build attribution models for website event tracking
- Create reports and data visualizations to increase the quality of analysis being delivered
- Collaboratively identify relevant KPIs for individual projects, and engagement metrics (usage, renewals, etc.) and how they should be measured
- Help Senior Data Analysts with planning future phases for various projects
- Create quarterly/annual reports and presentations
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Postsecondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computing Science, or other Analysis related programs
- Experience conducting analysis on large datasets
- High level of proficiency with SQL coding, creating reports, and running queries
- Knowledge in data analysis and visualizations tools (like Python, R, , Matplotlib, etc.)
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Visualizations, Formulas) and Project Management software
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects
- Experience with statistical analysis
- Ability to summarize complicated analysis and make it easy to understand
- Strong interest in data analysis and developing creative solutions to problems
- Understanding of relational database structures and principles
