Our restaurants include:

Trattoria Nervosa, Gusto 101, Chubby's Jamaican Kitchen, Gusto 54 Catering, Felix Trattoria (Los Angeles), Pai, Kiin, Gusto 501, Azhar Kitchen + Bar, Café ZUZU, and Stella, opening in late 202- This role will be responsible for marketing and communications management across all of the above brands, (with exception to Pai and Kiin.)

The Scope of the Role and Responsibilities are as follows:

BRAND MARKETING

  • Develop & promote brand awareness through multichannel campaigns, monitor market trends and competition, ensuring our restaurant group stays competitive, relevant, and poised for growth
  • Manage and coordinate experiential marketing events and brand partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Support new restaurant launches, contributing to the development and execution of marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and communication plans to successfully introduce and establish new restaurants within the group
  • Develop and manage music program for all properties

ONLINE MARKETING MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee and audit all online brand platforms including websites, online ordering, reservations and review sites, etc.
  • Oversee performance of social media accounts and execution of content
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and industry partners to promote the restaurant group's brands and products on social media
  • Websites: Optimize SEO, drive traffic, and oversee any backend change management

PUBLIC RELATIONS (PR)

  • Liaise with PR agency to coordinate and execute on initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage PR contracts and goals by measuring designed KPIs
  • Review and approve PR agency activity reports and invoices
  • Oversee management and execution of PR events in conjunction with Gusto 54 managers and/or PR agency as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, including journalists, reporters, editors, and bloggers in order to manage PR strategies internally for our mature brands.

ANALYTICS AND STRATEGY

  • Own and manage annual marketing strategy and initiatives across all brands
  • Regularly present a marketing department analysis dashboard of KPIs & ROIs
  • Assist in developing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty to be executed by Digital Conent and Social Media Specialists
  • Innovate processes and streams of revenue that expand on current successes while creating new revenue driving initiatives for underperforming businesses
  • Collaborate with the Director level suite on quarterly scorecards, budgets, and opportunities to support across departments
  • Identify and evaluate new marketing and communication opportunities and determine whether they compliment our brand and business goals

COMMUNICATION

  • Work alongside CCO on communication strategies for Gusto Gives Back initiatives across all channels
  • Participate in communication strategy and online content development for IDEA Comittee
  • Oversee content creation, publishing, and distribution of biweekly online newsletter to customers, as led by Social Media Coordinator
  • Audit to maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all comms
  • Internal communications strategy support

DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Lead marketing department team with weekly checkins, performance evaluations, and department scorecards
  • Act as primary point of contact for business leaders for marketing / social/ communications feedback and requests

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or Communications Manager in the hospitality ind
