Responsibilities:


  • Conduct site visits to gather accurate measurements and assess project requirements.
  • Create detailed CAD drawings and specifications for custom millwork projects.
  • Collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients and the production team.
  • Ensure all drawings and specifications meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and MicroStation
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications
  • Review and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches
  • Make necessary modifications to existing drawings based on client feedback or design changes
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by conducting thorough quality checks
  • Prepare documentation and reports related to the drafting process
  • Maintain organized files and records of all drawings and related documents

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and MicroStation
  • Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
  • Experience in 2D animation and modeling is a plus
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
