    Oracle Application Manager

This is the job for you We are currently looking for an Oracle Application Manager for one of our clients in the mining and metal industry.

    Responsibilities:


    • Collaborate with planning teams and other stakeholders across all organizational levels.
    • Independently lead all projects involving the tool.
    • Coordinate technical updates, maintenance, programming needs, and backend requirements with third-party service providers.
    • Maintain the chart of accounts, entity roll-ups, and business rules in the calculation manager.
    • Submit budgets in the consolidation accounting system from planning software and reconcile consolidation and planning figures.
    • Address complex problems and provide recommendations for solutions.
    • Prepare and oversee ad hoc requests to/from various stakeholders.
    What you will need to succeed:


    • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience using Horizon (Oracle Application).
    • Experience with ESSBASE, SmartView, and Oracle Enterprise Management System (planning and financial consolidation modules) would be considered an asset.
    • Proficiency in programming.
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • A hands-on approach, with a preference for working closely with processes and tools.
    • Proactive with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills.
    • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
    • Demonstrated mindset for continuous improvement.
