The Market Data Analyst role reporting to the Manager, Business Management & Provisioning, is an integral role within the Global Market Data Services (GMDS) team.

With focus on driving transformation, automation and facilitating decision making across all levels through various data insights, the Employee will be tasked with various projects to enable best in class workforce, operational, reporting, visualizing and trend analysis capabilities.

The role will evolve as required as the Employee liaises with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities, and recommends solutions to enable the achievement of pillar and firm wide goals.

Accountable for the prompt support and administration to provision Market Data services, accesses, and licenses globally.

  • Convert raw data into meaningful analysis with the help of interactive, easytounderstand dashboards and reports, as well as, provide insights to improve decisionmaking;
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics dashboards and operational reports using Microsoft BI technologies
  • Reviews and creates various performance indicators to locate and correct issues.
  • Analyzes inventory query results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develops and implements data collection from other systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Create dynamic and eyecatching dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Develop reporting specifications from business needs, and choose a deadline for work completion.
  • Monitors and tracks performance, conducting independent analysis/assessments, and resolve issues as necessary
  • Performs onboarding, offboarding, adds and change requests as requested by line managers for Global Market Data Services.
  • Creates documentation to ensure the supportability of analyses and sustainability of processes.
  • Recommends approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes in the organization to improve overall efficiency.
  • Facilitates discussions and follows a structured approach to analyze, document and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen business analysis capability, such as: sharing expertise to promote technical development
  • Stays abreast of industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities & individual learning.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and in team/vendor collaborations on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Typically between 6 years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of executing DAX queries on Power BI desktop
  • Ability to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions
  • Possesses analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast paced, frequently changing environment.
  • Understands and can explain to others the core processes involved in their area of support.
